House rules

We keep the rules simple: treat the cottage like your own beach home and we'll all be happy.

Times & occupancy

• Check-in: after 4:00 PM · Check-out: before 10:00 AM. Your smart-lock code works exactly within this window.
• Maximum occupancy: 6 overnight guests (the number on your reservation).
• Quiet residential street; please keep outdoor noise considerate after 10 PM.

Parking & property

• Park in the carport or driveway. No parking on the lawn (Jekyll Island Authority regulation).
• The locked shed is not part of the rental; everything else is yours to enjoy.
• Exterior security cameras monitor the outside of the property only. There are no cameras inside.
• Please close and latch the backyard privacy fence gates.

Inside the cottage

• No smoking or vaping anywhere inside. Please dispose of outdoor cigarette butts safely.
• No parties or events.
• Kitchen is fully equipped; please wash up or load the dishwasher before check-out.
• Report any accidental damage right away. Accidents happen and honesty is appreciated.

Fire ring & grill

• Use the fire ring responsibly and fully extinguish before turning in. Firewood and matches are available at the village convenience store.
• Turn the gas grill off at the tank after use.
