Frequently asked questions

How do I check in?

Entry is fully keyless. Before arrival you'll receive your own unique smart-lock code for the carport entry door and the laundry room. It activates at 4:00 PM on check-in day and deactivates at 10:00 AM on check-out day. No key pickup, no waiting.

How close is the beach, really?

One short block. Cross the street, walk through the park, and the beach entrance is right there. On quiet mornings you can hear the ocean from the front porch.

How many people can stay?

The cottage sleeps up to 6: a king in the master, two fulls + two twins in the second bedroom, and a queen in the third. Every mattress is pillow-top memory foam.

Is there parking?

Yes: a covered carport plus room for up to six vehicles. Please don't park on the lawn (Jekyll Island Authority rule). Note the island collects a $10/day parking pass per vehicle at the entrance gate.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no — pets aren't allowed at the cottage. This keeps the home comfortable for every guest, including those with allergies.

Is the WiFi good enough to work remotely?

Yes: Xfinity high-speed internet at 415 Mbps, plus a dedicated workspace in the master suite. Guests regularly work full days from the cottage.

How do payments work?

Checkout is processed by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors. We never see or store your card number. Depending on how far out your stay is, you can pay in full or reserve with a deposit and pay the balance before arrival.

What's your cancellation policy?

Full refund if you cancel 30+ days before check-in; 50% refund 14–29 days before; no refund within 14 days. Full details on the cancellation policy page.

Is the backyard really fenced?

Completely. A new privacy fence encloses the whole backyard, with two hammocks, a picnic table, gas grill, and a fire ring that seats eight under the live oaks.

Do you provide linens and towels?

Yes, all beds are made with fresh linens and bath towels are provided. Bring your own beach towels and chairs, or ask us about what's in the house.

Is the house all on one level?

Yes — it's a single-level ranch home (1,215 square feet). All three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen, and the living room are on one floor, with no interior stairs.

How much does it cost per night?

Rates vary by season and length of stay — the booking calendar shows live nightly pricing for your exact dates, with weekly and monthly discounts applied automatically. Booking direct means no platform service fees.

Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum-stay requirements vary by season. Pick your dates on the booking calendar — it will let you know right away if your dates don't meet the current minimum.
